CSEA Tours NICU at Winthrop

MINEOLA- CSEA Local 830 President Jerry Laricchiuta and Vice President Scott Mulholland visited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Winthrop University Hospital on June 10.  The visit was a kickoff for the fundraising efforts for the March of Dimes, as they prepare for their 29th Annual Salute to Labor Dinner on November 14, which will honor Laricchiuta and six other labor leaders.

The purpose of the visit to the NICU was to see the premature infants that CSEA and other labor organizations will be raising money for over the coming months.  Much medical attention is needed for the survival of these babies and that’s where the money raised goes to.
