For Second Straight Year, CSEA Sponsors Trip for Underprivileged
EAST MEADOW- The CSEA Nassau Local 830 used nearly $3,500 from the proceeds of this year’s Annual Scholarship Classic to pay for bus transportation, and lunches for dozens of terminally ill children to take a trip from Nassau University Medical Center to the Paul Newman Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne, New York.
The children left on August 4, and returned on August 9. This is the 12th straight year that NUMC has been doing this trip, organized by CSEA member Linda Walsh. |
