Our member, John Miro, a Nassau County Police Department Crossing Guard was struck while performing his duties protecting children in Merrick on February 26, 2026. Tragically, John has passed away from his injuries.

CSEA Local 830 rallied with 15,000 of New York’s labor union members calling on the state to fix Tier 6 so the next generation can retire with dignity and security. #fixtier6
