We are proud to launch the Member of the Month program - a new way to celebrate the outstanding Local 830 members who make our Local shine. Let’s honor those who brighten our days, lighten our workloads, and embody the true spirit of union strength and mutual support.

About the Program

CSEA Local 830's Member of the Month program seeks Local 830 members in good standing who go above and beyond, demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and union pride while supporting coworkers and serving our community.

Nominees should be individuals who:

  • Go the extra mile to ensure a job is done right

  • Lift spirits with kindness, humor, or positivity

  • Offer encouragement and a helping hand when it’s needed the most

  • Contribute positively to their workplace or broader community

MOTM Program

Deadline: All submissions must be received by 5:00 PM on the last day of the month. Entries received afterward will be considered for the following month.

Winner Announcement: The Member of the Month winner will be announced by the 15th of each month.

Selection: Winners will be chosen by the CSEA Local 830 Member of the Month Committee.

What does the winner receive?

Along with well-earned recognition from their union family, each Member of the Month will receive:

  • A small token of appreciation

  • A formal certificate of recognition

  • Recognition on the CSEA Local 830 Website

  • An invitation to a special Member of the Month Celebration Event
